Patient Access is the customer service oriented collection of personal,
professional, clinical and financial data, under stressful conditions. It
requires a compassionate balance to enhance the integrity of collected
information at to appropriately distribute information to required entities.
It requires conscientious, detailed individuals who can move through duties
rapidly and equally detailed. It is necessary to be equally confident in all
registration entities inpatient, outpatient (all service locations), and
emergent services. It is necessary to stay abreast of new developments in an
ever changing environment to meet State, institutional standards. Patient
Access Representatives must display professionalism and exhibit utmost
confidence in order for patients/public to be confident in our quality of care.
Individuals must be sensitive in the collection and distribution of diagnostic
and personal information. This position requires the ability to work well with
physicians, staff and public (including, but not limited to , Nursing Homes,
Transport Companies, Payers and Primary Care sites.
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Healthcare Experience helpful
