ADMIN COORD - NSG - 5238

The Administrative Coordinator performs the primary functions of a professional
nurse manager in assessing, planning, directing and evaluating patient care
while taking intoconsideration hospital and nursing department philosophy,
goals and objectives. She/he is responsible for meeting the New York State
Hospital Code Standards, ANA Standards of Nursing Practice, OSHA, the Joint
Commission on Accreditation and Policies and Procedures of Columbia Memorial
Hospital. Is responsible for overseeing hospital operations during the
assigned shift, referring problems to administration or department heads as
necessary.

Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelors degree preferred.

License/Certifications:
Current registration as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.

Experience:
Three (3) to five (5) years experience in which clinical competence and
administrative management have been demonstrated. Assumes leadership role.
