DIRECTOR PERIOPERATIVE SERVICES – 10684

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor s degree in nursing required; Masters degree preferred

License/Certifications: RN Licensure State of New York; Nursing. Clinical
Specialty Certification preferred. (e.g.CNOR)

Experience: Five years management experience


Summary: The Director of Perioperative Services should be a registered nurse
with perioperative experience who demonstrates exemplary leadership skills; and
upholds the values and principles of nursing practice at CMH. The Director has
broad level thinking skills and understands all aspects of high-quality care
delivery. The Director of Perioperative Services is responsible for the
direction and leadership of operational, financial, programmatic, and personnel
activities of all departments under Perioperative Services. This includes
establishing, meeting, and continuously monitoring goals and objectives.
Collaborates and coordinates with multidisciplinary and interdepartmental teams
to allocate resources to promote safe, efficient, effective, and compassionate
care. Responsible for the design, administration, and evaluation of
professional nursing services within the perioperative arena in accordance with
the framework established by the NYS Practices act, perioperative (AORN; ASPAN)
practice guidelines; and DNV standards.



Salary Range: $34.36 – $56.72
