REGISTERED NURSE – 10197



The registered nurse works in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
to
determine and meet the needs of the patient. The registered nurse has the
primary
responsibility and accountability for providing quality care to patients
through the use of the nursing process as reflected in the Standards of Nursing
Practice and in a manner that is cost-effective without compromising quality
care. Responsible for planning, coordinating, delegating and evaluating
patient care utilizing the Nursing Process.

Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

License/Certifications:
Current registration as a licensed professional nurse in New York State.

Experience:
Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the New York State Practice Act
and the American Nurses’ Association (ANA) Standards of Nursing Practice.
Must possess incentive and initiative to maintain and update professional
knowledge and skill necessary to render optimal patient care. Minimum of one
(1) year Med/Surg experience required.


Salary Range: $33.86 – $47.17
