Visiting Hours at CMH
CMH thanks all visitors for their cooperation and compliance with specified visiting hours for each department
Medical and Post-Surgical Nursing Units
Visiting hours are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. All visitors must check in at the information desk located in the hospital’s main lobby. A visitor identification badge will be given upon arrival. We ask all visitors to adhere to the hours designated by CMH in an effort to provide our patients with adequate rest and privacy.
All visitors wishing to enter a room that has an isolation sign on the door must first report to the nursing station to receive important infection control instructions. No children under 12 years of age will be allowed in the Medical/Surgical Units, unless prior arrangements and approval have been given by the charge nurse, designee or the unit.
No children under 12 years of age are allowed in an isolation room without direct permission from the attending physician or charge nurse of the unit. All visitors should check with the primary nurse for diet restrictions prior to bringing patients any food or beverage. Parents of pediatric patients are encouraged to remain with the patient 24 hours per day. Parents may visit any time and are encouraged to stay overnight. A cot will be provided.
