FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HUDSON, N.Y. – Columbia Memorial Health is pleased to announce that Physical Therapist Lauren Papa from CMH Rehabilitation has been named as the December 2014 Employee of the Month and has recently earned a unique clinical certification.
In her role as a physical therapist, Lauren Papa treats patients in need of a wide range of physical therapy treatment, though she recently earned a special distinction. Lauren is now one of four physical therapists in New York State to achieve a certificate in Pelvic Physical Therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association. This unique training allows Lauren to help both women and men with pelvic issues such as urinary and fecal incontinence, as well as pelvic pain.
Lauren is part of a team of about 12 staff who work at CMH Rehabilitation, which provides outpatient service at offices on Fish & Game Road, as well inpatient rehabilitation and speech therapy services at the Hospital and Medical Office Building. CMH Rehabilitation helps treat thousands of patients each year and can be reached for new appointments at (518) 828-8704.
CMH’s Human Resources Department honors staff members with the Employee of the Month award at the start of each month. The winners are honored in a special ceremony featuring special gift package including a gift card.
