Greene County Physician Robert M. Schneider, M.D. Joins With Columbia Memorial Health

All Four of Dr. Schneider’s Greene County Locations to Augment CMH’s Broad Regional Network of Primary Care Practices and Rapid Care Centers

Hudson, New York — Columbia Memorial Health today announced that longtime Greene County physician Robert M. Schneider M.D. has agreed to join the Columbia Memorial Health (CMH) family of health care providers. The agreement takes effect on September 13 and includes all four medical services centers operated by Dr. Schneider, including Catskill Urgent Care, Cairo Family Care (now known as Main Street Medical Care), Coxsackie Family Practice (now known as Lafayette Family Care) and Tannersville Family Care on the mountain.

Columbia Memorial Health President and CEO Jay P. Cahalan said: “Dr. Schneider is well known and respected for his decades of commitment to patients and the community. We are thrilled to welcome the entire team to the CMH network of primary care practices. This will significantly enhance CMH’s care offerings and Rapid Care centers, allowing us to provide the best care possible to our entire region at locations that are convenient and close to home. With the addition of Dr. Schneider’s practices, the CMH network now offers three Rapid Care Centers (in Catskill, Copake and Valatie) and 15 primary care practices in communities across the region,” Mr. Cahalan said.

Dr. Schneider said: “It is with great excitement that I look forward to the partnership with Columbia Memorial Health. It has always been clear to me that the goals of CMH are similar to mine — to support and take care of the people in my community by providing the best care possible. This will certainly enhance the health and well-being of patients I serve, and I look forward to offering my patients the most exceptional care for many years to come.”

Staff at all four care centers will also be joining CMH, including Advance Practice Providers Alithia Maeurer, PA (Tannersville), Teal Gasbarro, FNP (Cairo), Julia O’Connor, FNP (Cairo), and Emily Warburton, FNP (Coxsackie).

Current patients of Dr. Schneider and his care team will continue to be welcome and can expect the same high level of personal care and service. New patients are also welcome at the four locations. Patients will now benefit from a direct linkage to the entire CMH network of care providers, including more than 20 specialty care practices, the CMH hospital in Hudson, and CMH’s diagnostic imaging and blood draw facilities in Hudson, Valatie and Catskill.
